Cedar Valley stands out as a celebration of the church’s rich and complex program through clear design, and by capitalizing on the challenges of a modest budget and compressed schedule. This project consisted of an addition and remodel to an existing facility including a new 300-seat student theater, a new 250-seat multi-use children’s worship area, large lobby, gym, classrooms and office suite. In Phase II a worship refresh of the existing 1980’s space involved removing the pews, mauve color, and choir risers to give a new identity that explodes with innovation, excitement, and energy by utilizing LED panel screens, flexible stages, and doubling the size of the platform.
