Crossroads Church
Albert Lea, MN
Addition/Remodel
Size: 25,000 square foot
Completed: April 2025
Crossroads Church has long been a place where the Albert Lea community gathers to worship, connect, and serve. As the congregation has grown, so has its vision for how the church can better support people at every stage of life. Yet the facility itself wasn’t keeping pace. Limited gathering space, confusing traffic flow, and an exterior that lacked warmth or clear identity were creating barriers for first-time guests and longtime members alike.
Station 19 partnered with Crossroads Church to reimagine how they could welcome and serve its growing community. The team designed a striking new canopy and vestibule at the main entrance, complete with clear signage to guide visitors. Inside, the lobby remodel transformed their first impression, introducing a welcoming gathering space, intuitive flow, and cozy seating and finishes that say “you belong here.” The project’s centerpiece is the new 900-seat worship auditorium featuring a sloped floor, stadium seating, and a tiered platform designed for both intimate services and large-scale events.
Through this partnership, Crossroads Church now enjoys a facility that matches its heart for hospitality and its mission to serve. Guests of all ages now experience a clear invitation to come in, easy movement throughout the space, and a warm welcome into community areas where they will gather, worship, and grow together. With more room for ministry and a refreshed sense of identity, Crossroads Church is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of its community for years to come.
