Glory of Christ Lutheran Church needed a space that would match the personality and life of their ministry and already updated sanctuary. By partnering with Station 19 Architects, Glory of Christ was able to bring light and openness to once dark and closed off education, administrative, and community areas. By replacing the original dormer with a larger skylight, their existing exterior cross became visible from the main drive, and the lobby and gathering spaces were flooded with natural light. A beamed entry canopy, expanded and convenient parking, refreshed landscaping, and new, inviting meeting areas (one with a gas fireplace) create a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The results brought a vision to life by adapting existing space to the community's needs and creating new space for growth.
