For years, Hillside Church has been a community where people worship, serve, and grow in faith together. But their facility struggled to provide functional space beyond their main gathering areas. A closed-off hallway served as a pass-through between key rooms but offered little capacity for guests to linger, connect, or feel at home. The church wanted a warmer, more functional entry and lobby that encouraged people to gather rather than simply pass through.

Station19 partnered with Hillside to reimagine how their main spaces could welcome and connect people. By relocating the church offices into an underused area, Station19 opened up valuable square footage near the exterior entries, worship area, and café. This remodel created a first impression that is not just more spacious, but more intentional. The refreshed lobby now includes intimate seating areas, an open and accessible welcome desk, and clear sightlines into the café and sanctuary. All of these design choices naturally invite guests to pause, connect, and explore.

Today, Hillside Church enjoys a transformed space that reflects its heart for hospitality and community. Guests experience a smooth flow between major areas, more room to move and gather, and warm, comfortable spots to sit and talk. New visitors are welcomed with a clear sense of where to go and a first impression that feels personal and inviting. With these changes, Hillside has created not just a corridor but a true gathering place, supporting deeper relationships and a stronger sense of belonging for everyone who walks through its doors.
