ParkSide Church

Remodel/Addition
Size: 10,000 square foot remodel, 6,500 square foot addition
Completed: August 2018 

Station 19 partnered with ParkSide Church to remodel and expand their facility to meet the church’s mission to “Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.” They wanted to create an outwardly focused ministry center for all ages that would be a welcoming space for both long-time members and first-time visitors.

With these challenges before them, Station 19 helped to create a facility design and expansion plan that would address various challenges with elevation and building access, including a new entry that immediately connects the visitor to all ministry areas on both levels. The windows and an open railing along the stair, and glass lift enclosure connect those inside the building to the broader community that they are called to serve. Remodeling included improvements to restrooms, windows, heating, cooling, and sprinkler systems throughout the building. New and refreshed education spaces were designed to reflect a love and concern for all ages. The finished project reflects the church’s heart and expands their reach.
